Therapy can be a transformative journey of self-discovery and healing. It provides a safe space to explore your life story, build resilience, heal from trauma, cultivate self-compassion, and set meaningful goals. Whether facing past trauma, life transitions, or mental health concerns, therapy empowers you to navigate challenges and embrace your true self.
I understand the importance of finding the right therapist, so below is a bit about myself, about my approach, and about my training. If what you read resonates with you, please feel free to contact me to arrange an introductory session. This session would allow us to explore your concerns, understand your needs, and decide if we are a good fit to work together.
A bit about how I work…
My approach is client-centred, holistic, and integrative, which means I draw on techniques and concepts from different therapeutic modalities that suit your individual needs and your unique personal circumstances and goals.
I subscribe to both humanistic and scientific-basis therapeutic approaches, valuing the importance of empathy, compassion, and the therapeutic relationship, while also integrating evidence-based practices grounded in psychological research. Additionally, my approach is flexible but structured, agreeing on clear therapeutic goals.
About my training:
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and an Accredited Registrant with the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), as well as an Associate Member with The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT). As part of my training, I also learned how to integrate techniques and concepts from different modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Mindfulness, Hypnotherapy, EMDR and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). I hold the following qualifications:
